Avon Beach Foundation Ocean Mile
For 2024, Avon's swim shifts to a new day—Saturday instead of former Sunday. It also gets a new name—Avon Beach Foundation Ocean Mile.
Avon by the Sea has a mile swim with a triangular course in the surf and easy one-stop logistics. There is also a splash-n-dash race for kids going out about 150 yards into the surf and then returning to the beach.
